I can’t believe I am about to tell this story. One of the best families right here! Mom and Dad aren’t in the photos, but really some of the nicest people I have ever met! It all starts a couple of weeks ago when I had to cancel a session with them. My kiddos got sick and it was the first time in all of my photography career that I had to cancel a photo shoot so I almost had a heart attack. But, of course the Mom was totally understanding. She has b/g twins herself who are almost the same age as my duo! We reschedule their shoot and you will never believe I sent them to the wrong place the second time. SERIOUSLY?! It’s quite obvious I have way too much on my plate right now! (Still can’t believe I am even telling this story!) The Mom called me and was like “where are you?”. And, it gets worse. I’m on the other side of the BAY AREA! OY OY OY. I apologize profusely and she is SO sweet and understanding and we schedule them for the next day. I’m sure you think the story is over at this point. Well, unbeknownedst to me, the park we meet up at has a car show that day! The park is secured and you have to pay $15 a person to get in! I felt sick. I start digging around for money thinking, “I gotta pay for this family it’s the only right thing to do after all this!”. Yeah, I left my wallet at home. UGH! I start...

I have been lagging on the blog posts lately besides my photos of the day. Sorry folks! Summer has been extremely busy. I can’t believe that lurking right around the corner is the mad holiday rush! Yes, really! It will be here before we know it! Oy oy oy! The time of year when I lock myself away in my little photography studio day and night to get all those holiday photos, custom cards and orders ready! I’m going to have some wonderful holiday offers and custom cards this year so make sure to check in! I’m really excited. I had a spectacular time at the park with these cutie pies and their Mommy already booked another session with me! Thank you, I will look forward to that! I really enjoy (and appreciate!) repeat clients because I get to see their kiddos grow up and of course the best part is making forever memories for the family! I LOVE kiddos. Before earning my BA degree I studied Early Childhood Education and received enough credits to be a preschool teacher. They’ve since expired of course, but that is what I initially wanted to do. In high school I worked for years at a private school at the afterschool program and taught swimming lessons in the summer. Anyways, enough enough…. I get to thinking and start to ramble and you all know I love to talk. Enjoy these...

I had a fun afternoon with three little princesses and their parents! I think they really liked the park I picked. They were very interested in what was happening around them and enjoyed the flowers! I find the photo of the twins below with their backs to the camera quite interesting. They had stopped to watch the men in a big truck with a lift cutting down parts of a tall tree. Look at the twins’ stance and their hands. They are exactly the same! I wish I could post more this evening, but I am exhausted! Keep checking back! I am pretty much booked solid for the next couple of weeks and did I tell you that I love that?!! I also have news! My little sister is slated to arrive in only two weeks from tomorrow! Yes, you read that right! My sister (my kids’ Auntie) will be born soon. I will definitely be taking some newborn photos! You could say my family is quite “modern”....
